Racket

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Racket is a Telegram Mini App for running and playing racket-sport tournaments (badminton, tennis, padel). This policy explains exactly what we store, why, on what legal basis, and how to get it deleted.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is IP Efremova A. V. (an individual entrepreneur registered in Russia), the operator of Racket ("we", "us").

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

We do not ask you to create an account or a password. You sign in with Telegram, and we receive only what Telegram passes to a Mini App. "Legal basis" below refers to Article 6 of the GDPR, for users to whom it applies.

DataWhyLegal basis
Telegram user ID, username, name, profile photo To identify you, show you in draws and standings, and send you tournament notifications Contract — performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b))
Language To show the app in your language Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Optional profile you fill in yourself: city, gender, age, playing level, playing hand To seed draws fairly and help organisers group players. All optional — leave them blank and the app still works Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Your tournaments, registrations, match results and rating This is the product: brackets, standings and ratings cannot exist without it Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Venue location you enter — the venue name, address and the map coordinates (latitude/longitude) you pick for a tournament To show other players where the tournament is played. This is the venue's location that an organiser chooses on the map — not your device's location. Racket never asks your browser or phone for your position and never tracks where you are Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))
Telegram Stars purchases (charge ID, amount, tier, refund status) To grant the cosmetic Profi badge, to honour refunds, and to keep the accounting and tax records we are required to keep Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for granting the badge; legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for retaining the payment record for accounting and tax duties
IP address and request logs — IP, timestamp, user agent, the request made — processed by our hosting provider Cloudflare Unavoidable in serving any web request. Used to keep the service up, block abuse and attacks, and debug errors Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — securing and operating the service

We do not collect your phone number, email address (unless you write to us), contacts, or payment card details, and we do not collect your device's GPS or browser geolocation. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell or profile your data.

Payments

The optional Profi and Profi Trainer badges are bought with Telegram Stars. The payment is processed by Telegram — we never see or store card details. We store only the charge identifier Telegram returns, the tier and the amount, so we can grant the badge, refund it if you ask, and satisfy our accounting duties.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers. It is processed only by the infrastructure that runs Racket:

Other players see what you would expect them to see in a tournament: your name and photo, your registrations, your results and your rating. A tournament's venue and map pin are visible to anyone who can see that tournament.

International transfers

Racket runs on Cloudflare's global network and Telegram's servers, so your data is processed on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal data of EEA/UK users is transferred, it is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, which our providers incorporate into their data-processing terms.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Write to club@badmclub.ru, or message @racket_app_bot with /support. We answer within 30 days and charge nothing.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the EEA, the data protection authority of the country where you live or work (list of authorities); in the UK, the ICO.

Deleting your account

You can delete your Racket account at any time:

Deletion is anonymise-and-detach: your profile — name, username, photo, city, gender, age, level, playing hand — is removed, and you are detached from your registrations. Where a completed tournament's record must stay intact, your entry is anonymised rather than erased (it shows as a former player with no identifying details), so the bracket and other players' results remain correct. Stars payment records are kept for the legally required period as described above. The deletion cannot be undone; signing in again creates a fresh, empty account.

Children

Racket is not directed at children. You must be at least 13 years old to use it — or 16, if the law of your country sets a higher minimum age for consent to online services. If we learn that a younger child has an account, we delete it. Telegram's own minimum age also applies.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the date above.
